@Fisiu skoro świeżych informacji o problemach z ath9k jest bardzo mało to jednak obstawiał bym oprogramowanie routera, tym bardziej, że w kolejnych wersjach firmware coś tam zawsze poprawiali z wifi. Choć na końcu pewnie zaatakuję listę, którą podałeś (mój cinki angielski trochę mnie spowalnia w tej kwestii, co innego czytać czyjeś posty a co innego napisać, żeby oz zrozumiał).

Na podstawie danych które dostarczyłeś wynika że karta w asusie obsługuje N'kę i nie powinno być z tym problemów.
Router także "wystawia" łączność po N'ce.

Zostaje zagadką dlaczego sprzęty nie mogą się połączyć właśnie po N'ce - pozostaje tylko debugowanie lub jak napisał Fisiu zgłoszenie się na listę devel.

Potencjalnie możesz jeszcze zrobić test z usunięciem modułu z jądra dla ATH.

W jednej konsoli:
journalctl -f
w drugiej konsoli:
rmmod ath9ka następnie
modprobe ath9k
Dostarczyć wyniki z obu konsol.

Kolega z trzepak.pl pomógł mi rozwiązać problem.

Jedną z pierwszych rzeczy jakie zrobiłem po zainstalowaniu routera było wyłączenie jednej z opcji - WMM.

Po ponownym jej włączeniu za pierwszym razem połączyłem się z routerem na 270 Mbps.

Problem uważam za rozwiązany.
